How Does BELOTERO BALANCE® Work?

BELOTERO BALANCE® is a prescription injectable that temporarily smooths deep folds and facial wrinkles. During treatment, your Levy Dermatology provider will use BELOTERO BALANCE® to fill in nasolabial lines around the side of the nose and mouth, fine lines around the eyes, and the off-label area of hollowing in the “tear troughs” or the volume loss between the eyelids and upper cheeks.

Treatments are done in-office and typically take less than 15-minutes making BELOTERO BALANCE® ideal for patients seeking a ‘lunchtime’ wrinkle reduction procedure. BELOTERO® is a smooth, flexible gel that blends into the natural structure of the skin. The FDA-approved hyaluronic acid formula helps reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and folds while maintaining normal facial movement.

BELOTERO BALANCE® treatments are generally very well tolerated due to an ultra-fine gauge needle and your Levy Dermatology provider’s precise delivery techniques. However, a topical numbing cream may be applied upon request.

Although BELOTERO BALANCE® is primarily used to treat moderate to severe nasolabial lines, the injectable can be beneficial for a variety of deep-set folds.

The gel filler is safe and effective for treating etched-in wrinkles in delicate areas. Many patients choose to have BELOTERO BALANCE® done to correct vertical lip lines, smile lines, and chin wrinkles.
